How to get to our Lodge in Algonquin Park

Itinerary

Start your 3 days Algonquin Park canoe trip at midday with lunch at the Algonquin Log Cabin. You will meet your hosts and get a crash course on canoeing from your assigned guide. Next up is an orientation hiking experience across Kitchie Island. After this, you can relax on deck or paddle across the Otter Bay to explore its Boreal forest, beaver ponds, and the orange rock outcroppings of the Canadian Shield.

When you return, you can either go for a swim or relax on deck before having your tasty home-cooked dinner. End your day with a night paddle in a 26-foot (8 meters) voyageur, accompanied by your guide under the indigo sky. The Algonquin Park canoe lake trip is all about relaxing and having fun while basking in spectacular scenery. In the end, you will learn how to paddle, (not like the experts though) and maybe hear the wolves howl.

We offer you the option of being picked up in Toronto. Please check Tariffs for the cost of transfers. Should you wish to rent a car for your Log Cabin Adventure, please check with us for car rental rates.
