Algonquin Voyageur Adventure is a part of Algonquin Park's original magical spirit. Embark on a canoe voyage inside Algonquin Park, getting hands-on experience with wilderness navigation and living off the land. Hear stories while you enjoy an evening campfire, be captivated by the views as you paddle through lakes and streams that contain abundant wildlife and untouched beauty, learn how to maneuver Algonquin’s waterways for a true sense of accomplishment, and challenge yourself with outdoor team building activities like rock climbing, cliff jumping, and hiking. Algonquin Voyageur Adventure provides the opportunity to get up close and personal with the incredible Algonquin environment so don't miss out!

After arriving mid afternoon for Algonquin Voyageur Adventure's Eco-Lodge, check in is available any time after 2 pm. Once checked-in, guests will meet their guide for orientation before having some free time to explore the area and relax before dinner. When the sun sets, embark on a canoe ride to go out on our private lake and try to find some of Algonquin's resident beavers - they are most active at this time of day! After a memorable evening of star gazing, head back inside the lodge after an exciting day out in the wilderness.

Today, the journey begins with a relaxing canoe trip into Algonquin Park, meandering up the York River while portaging around its awe-inspiring rapids and waterfalls. While en route, keep your eye out for native wildlife such as beavers or deer. The day ends with some free time to explore the area further and enjoy activities such as swimming in the nearby lake or visiting Little Mink Lake for an opportunity to fish for bass or trout. Further, an unforgettable evening awaits participants of a bonfire with ghost stories, roasting marshmallows and a wolf lecture which culminates in an awe-inspiring collective wolf howl under the night sky.

Start your day off right with our guided interpretive hiking trip to the Grand View Lookout! Admire nature and the incredible views on a hike that takes four hours round-trip. After, enjoy a tasty picnic lunch, followed by free time in the evening to explore more of what nature offers. Don't forget to take a dip in the Logger's Jacuzzi - let those beautiful surroundings take you away. Finally, end the evening with a barbeque dinner (subject to our chef's meal plan) and sit around a bonfire watching.

Start your day off right with a Morning Moose Paddle down a small creek and lake. This self-guided tour gives you an excellent opportunity to search for some of Canada's most iconic wildlife, including moose, deer, and beavers. Along with these majestic creatures, have your camera ready to take pictures of any evidence of wolf activity that you might stumble across! After paddling around the lake for a few hours, enjoy breakfast at the lodge before checking out at 12 pm. From there, head back to Toronto or continue your journey across Canada!

Exclusions

  • Luggage Transfers are optional, at $10/person.
  • Transportation to tour/activity start destination.  Please refer to Joining Instructions for more details.
  • Travel Insurance – highly recommended. If client declines your offer to sell Travel Insurance, you are required to secure a Liability Waiver signed by the client that you must provide us on demand.  We sell Travel Insurance to residents of Ontario.  Non-residents of Ontario as well as clients from abroad must purchase Travel Insurance in the province/state/country where they reside.
  • Gratuities for Tour Guides/Driver cum Guides (Expected)
  • If applicable, cost of any RTPCR/Antigen Test or costs related to quarantine.
