The magnificant Kluane National Park, which has been decleared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, boasts in breathtaking landscape and scenery during the snow-covered winter months. A truly hidden gem among outdoor enthusiast for snowshoeing and icefishing, we’ll spend the day exploring the most impressive views for photography. At one of the many lakes at the outskirts of the park we’ll snowshoe to a perfect spot and setup our day camp for ice fishing. With the help of an ice-auger, we will drill a hole in the ice. The ice on a lake can be from 30 cm to one-meter-thick! Hot drinks will be available to keep us toasty. Take a look around and enjoy the beauty of a winter’s day while waiting for the big catch! If we are lucky and catch a nice fish your guide will fillet it and cook it on the fire.
