In this half-day excursion, you'll ride two-thirds of the way up one of Banff's most iconic mountains, visit a historic landmark hotel, look for elk or coyotes in the brush, and finally bridge the raging Spray River. This excursion takes you from the lively Banff town-site to the serene wilderness just a few kilometres away, passing by snow-capped mountains, glittering waterfalls, roaring rivers, and deep alpine forests. After seeing the famous Rimrock Resort Hotel, take a quick hike down to the valley for a refreshing dip in the Spray River. A light snack and water are included.
After a well-earned break, cross the Spray River and ride around the base of Mount Rundle, where you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of the valley and the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Then stroll across the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course's exquisite fairways. You'll continue on to the raging Bow Falls, where you'll cross the river once again before returning.
