This 2 Day Package includes a fun whitewater rafting trip and a day spent at the OWL waterfront resort playing and relaxing.

Rafting – Low Intensity

This travel-path is forged by First Nations, traversed by fur traders since the 1600’s and fostered by foresters at the turn of the last century. Get to experience the great Canadian river trip. You will be provided with some introduction to Whitewater. It is a full day natural roller coaster where you will paddle as a team together. All you must listen for directions, join in and have fun as your your experienced guide steers from the stern. This soft adventure trip descends 8 km of beautiful scenery and tumbling whitewater, interspersed with quiet pools where you get to body surf and float in the friendly warm waters.

We transfer to the comfort of our signature Pontoon Boat to enjoy a freshly grilled meal, as the currents goes down. Relax and reenergize while you cruise back to the OWL Resort and take in the beauty of the Canadian Shield. A video presentation will let you relive your day’s adventure at this resort.

Rafting – Medium Intensity

Enjoy your full day excursion by Paddling, splashing, and rolling down more challenging routes of the Ottawa River. While you paddle with your crew your experienced and passionate guide controls the raft using oars at the back. You’ll get a chance to body surf and float, and possibly do some cliff jumping too – it’s up to the river!

*All participants are required to paddle.

We transfer to the comfort of our signature Pontoon Boat where you dry your clothes and enjoy a freshly grilled meal, as the currents goes down. Relax and reenergize while you cruise back to the OWL Resort via the historical route of the First Nations viewing the rugged beauty of the Canadian Shield. A video presentation will let you relive your day’s adventure at this resort.

Resort

Play a round of frisbee golf, a game of beach volleyball, or try your luck at horseshoes. The resort is not a licensed establishment so our guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages. Ice cream, snacks, cold drinks and ice are available for sale on site. We also boast a large floating swim dock right off shore, a bike pump track and a life size maze.

• All participants must weigh at least 41 kg (90 lbs) for Medium Intensity.
