During this evening trip you spend more time wandering around and enjoy the beauty of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake at one of the quietest times of day. Sunlight reflects off mountain dust particles suspended in the glacier melt water, giving Lake Louise its pale turquoise tint. It's a natural wonder that you can't take your eyes off. Take your time meandering around the gorgeous Bow Valley Parkway, keeping a look out for wildlife, and enjoy an early supper at Baker Creek Mountain Resort's Baker Creek Bistro, which has a lovely log cabin feel.
Avoid the crowds by visiting Lake Louise during one of the quietest times of the day. You'll have plenty of time to stroll around on your own. You can also take a certified guide on an informative nature walk along the shoreline. Then we'll proceed to Moraine Lake, where you can take a short hike up the 'rockpile' route for a stunning view of the famous lake, before returning to Banff as the sun sets and bathes the mountains in a golden glow.
Guests will be picked up at individual hotels in Banff.
