Algonquin Wilderness EcoLodge, is situated next to the active beaver pond (Moffat Pond) and cascading waterfall, is on the southern ECO-LODGE-Aerial2border of Algonquin Park. It's a wilderness enthusiast's paradise of lots to do and see, both in summer and in winter. With over 60 km of groomed, wilderness trails within the Park, the EcoLodge is a perfect location for hiking, nature walking, wildflower discovery and birding, canoeing and mountain biking.

Algonquin Park is a world-renowned wilderness park just 3 hours north of Toronto. It has 7,725 square kilometres, and over 2,000 freshwater lakes. Deer, moose, beaver, wolves, bears, and many other wild species can be found within its boundaries, all in their natural environment, and for the most part, untouched by man.

The Eco-Lodge is perfect for those who want to explore the wilderness of Canada without having too "rough” it. Your journey starts with a leisurely 2.3 km stroll (approx. 20 minutes) or you can bike through Algonquin Park to reach the lodge front doors.

The Eco-Lodge is wonderfully isolated amidst remote Algonquin forests, where even hydro lines or telephone poles cannot be reached, and yet with a mix of renewable energy sources, it also offers all the finer facilities, such as indoor plumbing, 17 rooms, double and dorm style, hot showers, and an outdoor wood-fired sauna.

It's the best way to spend a few days exploring "real" Canadian wilderness adventures.
