Arrive in Whitehorse this afternoon.  The Tour representative will meet you on arrival at the Whitehorse Airport and transfer you to your hotel located in the heart of the city.  Whitehorse located close to the famous Yukon River, is a small city, easy to explore on foot or by vehicle.

Start the day with a sightseeing flight above the spectacular summer scenery on a 20-minute sightseeing flight. Enjoy the sights of Yukon summer from above as never before. Late this morning, you will depart for a city-sightseeing tour where you will discover the history of the north. Whitehorse has a lot to offer. You will come across the famous sights like the historic Paddlewheeler SS Klondike or a “Skyscraper” completely made out of logs. Get to see up close the inhabitant game like the Elk, Moose, Caribou, Mountain Goats and Lynx in their natural surrounding as we drive later to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. Visit the Takhini Hotsprings and indulge yourself in the natural hot waters and relax in a breathtaking mountain setting.

Drive into the mountains of Kluane National Park after your breakfast. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, you will visit the magnificent Kluane National Park, on this tour. Also visit the scenic Kathleen Lake and enjoy a short hike at the Rock Glacier. Here you will see some magnificent view across lakes and mountains surrounding Kluane National Park. Visiting the historic indigenous Klukshu Village we will also have the chance to see wild salmon reaching their spawning grounds. We will visit the Da Kų Cultural Centre to learn more about the rich history of Kluane National Park, which is home to the largest non-polar ice field.

Learn the old tradition of canoeing today. After your detailed safety briefing you’ll get introduced to the art of canoeing and soon we’ll be on our way on historic waterways. Canoe down the historic Yukon River and enjoy the peaceful scenery on this tour. You will paddle from Whitehorse to the confluence of the Takhini River. This is the perfect way to enjoy this classic northern river and a great day trip for beginner paddlers. Reward yourself with a beer from the famous Yukon Brewery at one of the downtown restaurants as you come back from your canoe trp.

Head out for a fishing adventure on one of the beautiful lakes in the Whitehorse area. You’ll find some of Canada’s best fishing for Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Arctic Grayling, Rainbow Trout and White Fish, in the Yukon. Our guide will choose the ideal lake for your fishing experience depending upon the weather conditions. Take a look around and enjoy the beauty of this landscape while waiting for the big catch! If we are lucky and catch a fish your guide will fillet it and cook it on the fire. W return to Whitehorse with a record catch of great memories.

Get to see some of the most breathtaking views of the Yukon’s landscape and scenery on this tour.
