Whitehorse is full of historic landmarks and interesting sights. On a city tour, you will visit the SS Klondike National Historic Site, the Old Log Church, and the Log Cabin Skyscraper. You will also have a chance to stroll down Main Street and visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. The SS Klondike was one of the last great paddlewheelers that sailed the Yukon River system. The Old Log Church is the oldest building in Whitehorse. The Log Cabin Skyscraper is a three-story tower made completely out of logs. Main Street is perfect for strolling and shopping with its shops, galleries, and cafes. The Yukon Wildlife Preserve is home to many of the Yukon’s large mammal species, including elk, moose, mule deer, caribou, Dall’s sheep, mountain goats, bison, and musk-oxen. You will have a chance to see all of these animals in their natural surroundings. After a long day of hiking in the preserve, you'll be ready to relax in the Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs. The natural hot springs are the perfect way to unwind, and you'll be able to enjoy a beautiful summer mountain setting.
Later in the evening, you'll head back out on the road to see the stunning Northern Lights. You can choose to relax in sheltered comfort or under the stars by a warm fire at one of our aurora viewing locations. Either way, you're sure to have an unforgettable experience.
