On our Best Value Aurora Viewing tour, you'll discover the beautiful Whitehorse capital of Canada. You will travel outside city centre and far enough from light pollution to Aurora Centre, our ideal viewing location for viewing Aurora Borealis also known as Northern Lights. Your evenings will feature relaxing hours of viewing Northern Lights in the comfort of our Aurora Centre with a cozy wood stove or roaring campfire. 
You tour will also take you to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve where you’ll have the opportunity to view and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat.  And to cap this great day, we’ll travel to the nearby Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs.  

On free days you can choose from optional winter sightseeing, shopping and touring in and around the capital.

Arrive in Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport.  Our representative will meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Whitehorse.  Rest of the day free to explore Whitehorse on your own. 
Later in the evening we set out to the Aurora Centre where we’ll seek the sight of northern lights. Your tour departs at 11:30 PM and you will return to hotel around 3:30 AM

Overnight in Yukon, YT.
Late this morning we will go on a discovery tour of the sights and sounds of Whitehorse, historic and yet trendy.  On this tour, you will visit the SS Klondike National Historic Site; among the last of the great paddle-wheelers that plied the Yukon River system until the 1950’s, the Old Log Church; the oldest building in Whitehorse, the unique Log Cabin Skyscraper; a three-story tower made completely out of logs. And when you’ve seen all these top sites, Main Street is perfect for strolling and shopping with its shop’s galleries and café’s. Afternoon is free for optional sightseeing and touring. You have the option to try dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or ice fishing. 

Post a relaxed dinner in Whitehorse, you’ll be back on the road again, this time to seek views of the stunning Northern Lights. Relax in sheltered comfort, or under the starry sky beside a warm fire at one of our tailor-made Aurora viewing locations. 

Your tour departs at 11:30 PM and you will return to hotel around 3:30 AM.

Overnight in Yukon, YT.
Today, your day is free for optional sightseeing and touring. In the winter season we offer you a variety of tour options including some of the most popular Yukon winter activities. You’ll get the chance to experience Jack London’s Yukon while experiencing the region’s most popular sport, dog sledding! 

Or choose to go on a snowshoeing tour in the magnificent Kluane National Park, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, boasts in breathtaking landscape and scenery during the snow-covered winter months. 

Another great Yukon experience will be Ice fishing.  You will find in Yukon, some of Canada’s best fishing for lake trout, northern pike, Arctic grayling, rainbow trout and Arctic char. Join our tour for an ice fishing and snowshoeing adventure on one of the beautiful lakes in the Whitehorse area.

If wildlife is your thing, join our tour on a visit to the famous Yukon Wildlife Preserve.  You will have the opportunity to view and photograph a variety of wildlife in its natural habitat. Dalls sheep, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, mule deer, wapiti (elk), woodland caribou, wood bison, musk-ox, moose, arctic fox and even lynx can all be seen on this tour. It’s a photographer’s and naturalist’s dream to see Yukon’s wildlife up close and you will be in the front-row to learn about wildlife living year-round in the True North.
