Continuing along the George Parks Highway, we arrive in Fairbanks, the city of the midnight sun, early in the afternoon. Situated approximately 320 kilometers south of the Arctic Circle, Fairbanks offers a distinctive northern charm. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the city and its surroundings. Discover the rich history and geology of Alaska at various museums, take a scenic stroll along the Chena River and downtown, or opt for a memorable sternwheeler cruise on the Chena River. Fairbanks presents a diverse array of experiences, ensuring an enriching urban adventure.

Pause at the iconic Five Finger Rapids and immerse yourself in the rich history of the area through visits to historic post offices, roadhouses, and villages, each contributing to the unique northern ambiance. Upon our late afternoon arrival in Whitehorse, don't miss the opportunity to explore the stunning Miles Canyon, where the Yukon River has carved its path through basaltic lava, showcasing nature's remarkable artistry.

This morning marks the end of your Northern High Lights Tour. Hotel check-out time is at 11 AM. Our driver will drop you off at the Whitehorse Airport for your flight home.
