Day 1: Arrive in Anchorage

Welcome to Anchorage, Alaska's largest city, where your Alaskan adventure begins! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by one of our local representatives, who will assist you with your transfer to your hotel in Anchorage. After settling in, you will have the rest of the day to explore this vibrant city, with its rich history, culture, and natural beauty.

Take a stroll around the downtown area, visit the Anchorage Museum, or sample some local cuisine.

Day 2: Travel north to Denali National Park.

Highlights of the day:

Journey up the Scenic Parks Highway to Denali.
Stops for Wildlife Viewing enroute.
Welcome Dinner.

Good morning! After enjoying a delicious breakfast, it's time to board our deluxe motorcoach and embark on the journey north to Denali National Park. The Scenic Parks Highway offers stunning views. We will make several stops along the way to take in the natural beauty of Alaska. Keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of the majestic Denali, the tallest peak in North America, and the wildlife that call this area home.

Upon arriving in Denali, we'll check into our accommodations and freshen up before enjoying a welcome dinner together. This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers and to discuss the exciting adventures that lie ahead. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Take a walk around the area, visit the park's visitor center, or simply relax and take in the peace and tranquility of the Alaskan wilderness.

Day 3 - Tundra Wilderness Tour.

Highlights of the day:

6-hour fully narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour.
Spot bears, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep.
Stop at Adolf Murie Cabin.
Get insight into the animals, flora, and fauna of this spectacular region.

Get ready to explore the breathtaking wilderness of Denali National Park on our fully narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour. During a 5 to 6 Hour journey, you will get to spot some of the most magnificent animals that call the Park their home, such as bears, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep.

The tour is narrated, allowing you to gain insightful knowledge about the animals, flora, and fauna of this spectacular region. Enjoy a snack on the bus as you make your way through the park. Additionally, an interpretive stop at the Adolf Murie Cabin offers a glimpse of the history and science behind this vast landscape.

Denali National Park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Alaska, and for good reason. With its sprawling wilderness, rich wildlife, and diverse plant life, it offers a unique and unforgettable experience for visitors. The Tundra Wilderness Tour is an excellent way to explore this stunning region and get up close and personal with some of its most iconic inhabitants.

Note - Please note that early May and September tours may be shortened due to road conditions. We'll spend the night in Denali, dreaming of the wildlife and natural beauty we experienced today.

Day 4: Deluxe Dome Railcar tour to Talkeetna.

Highlights of the day:

Deluxe Dome Railcar tour from Denali to Talkeetna.
Catch a glimpse of black bears along banks of the Susitna River.
Scenic tour transfer from Talkeetna to Anchorage.

This morning is free for you to indulge in some optional sightseeing activities.

Late morning. our coach will transfer you to the Denali Rail Depot. Here, you will board the train for a Deluxe Dome Railcar Journey south to the town of Talkeetna situation in the confluence of the Susitna, Chulitna, and Talkeetna Rivers. During the scenic transfer, keep an eye out for a glimpse of Denali (formerly known as Mt. McKinley) for black bears along the banks of the Susitna River.

Upon arrival in Talkeetna, our deluxe motor coach will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Talkeetna.

Day 5 Journey to Seward, gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park.

Highlights of the day:

Grand adventure to Seward, gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park.
Marvel at the stunning scenery of the Turnagain Arm.
Observe various wild animals, including Dall sheep, moose, bears, and eagles.
Keep an eye out for Dall sheep, moose, bear, and eagle on scenic Turnagain Arm.

Rise and shine to a delicious breakfast before boarding our deluxe motor coach for an unforgettable journey to Seward, the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park. En route, marvel at the stunning scenery of the Turnagain Arm and keep an eye out for wildlife such as Dall sheep, moose, bears, and eagles. Upon arrival in Seward, take in the charm of this picturesque coastal town. Explore its many attraction (not included in your tour package)s, including the Alaska SeaLife Center, the historic downtown district, and the scenic waterfront. You may also choose to embark on optional tours, such as a wildlife and glacier cruise or a kayaking adventure in Resurrection Bay.

Whatever your preference, there is something for everyone to enjoy in this stunning corner of Alaska.

Day 6: Glacier and wildlife cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park

After breakfast, board the motor coach to Anchorage. Upon arrival, enjoy a brief city tour of the historic downtown area and the Anchorage Museum. This world-class museum showcases the art and history of Alaska. In the evening, gather with your fellow travelers for a closing night dinner to share stories of your Alaskan adventure. Overnight in Anchorage, where you can explore the city's vibrant nightlife or relax in your hotel room. Anchorage is known for its stunning natural beauty, cultural attractions, and diverse dining options, offering something for everyone. Take a stroll through the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge or hike through the Chugach Mountains for incredible views. Day 8: Your Alaska National Parks Tour ends today.

Your Alaska National Parks Tour will conclude today. Hotel check-out begins at 11 AM. The hotel’s courtesy coach will provide you a complimentary transfer to Anchorage Airport for your journey home.

We will transfer you to Anchorage Airport (ANC) this morning.

Gratuities to Tour Directors and Drivers are not included. Gratuity of US $9 per person, per day for the tour director and US $7 per person, per day for the driver will apply and must be paid to Tour Director at the start of the tour.
Travel Insurance – highly recommended. If client declines your offer to sell Travel Insurance, you are required to secure a Liability Waiver signed by the client that you must provide us on demand. We sell Travel Insurance to residents of Ontario. Non-residents of Ontario as well as clients from abroad must purchase Travel Insurance in the province/state/country where they reside.
