Get ready to explore the last frontier with a luxurious 6-day, 5-night tour in Alaska! Your adventure starts in Fairbanks, where you'll visit the world class Museum of the North and step into history. Further off the beaten path on a Chena River Cruise, take time to soak up magnificent views of the river in a traditional Sternwheeler Boat. Head to Denali National Park and have time at leisure to explore the area before boarding a fully narrated 6-hour Tundra Wilderness Tour. Keep your eyes peeled for some wildlife wonders like bears, moose, caribou and Dall sheep. Travel back from Denali via deluxe dome railcar and make one last stop in Talkeetna before being treated to an unforgettable farewell dinner with your fellow travelers.

Day 1: Arrive in Fairbanks

Fly into Fairbanks, Alaska’s Golden Heart City. Transfer via hotel courtesy shuttle and overnight in Fairbanks (or purchase meet/transfer service from DMCi)

Day 2: Sightseeing tour and Sternwheeler Boat cruise.

Highlights of the day:

Visit to Museum of the North and gain insights into the impact of the gold rush on Alaska's interior.
The Chena River Sternwheeler Cruise.

Take a journey through time and discover the impact of the Gold Rush on Alaska's interior on a sightseeing tour that includes a visit to the Museum of the North. Late morning, take some time to explore the downtown area, whether you're in the mood for shopping, a leisurely stroll, or a delicious meal on your own. This afternoon, you will go on a cruise of the Chena River aboard a Sternwheeler to experience the fun of river travel.

Wrap up your day with an optional authentic salmon bake, an excellent way to cap off a wonderful day in Alaska.

Day 3: Explore Denali National Park's pristine wilderness with optional activities.

Free time for optional activities including river rafting, flightseeing, etc.

Fuel up for the day with a delicious complimentary breakfast before embarking on a scenic motorcoach ride to the awe-inspiring Denali National Park. Spend the afternoon immersing yourself in the park's unspoiled wilderness, either by participating in a complimentary park service activity or an optional tour of your choice. With a range of options available, you can tailor your experience to your interests, whether you prefer mild or wild river rafting, flightseeing, a jet boat safari on the Nenana River, or a visit to an Iditarod champion's award-winning dog kennel. Day 4: Tundra Wilderness Tour.

6-hour fully narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour.

Stop at Adolf Murie Cabin.
Get insight into the animals, flora, and fauna of this spectacular region.

Get ready to explore the breathtaking wilderness of Denali National Park on our fully narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour. During a 5 to 6 Hour journey, you will get to spot some of the most magnificent animals that call the Park their home, such as bears, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep.

The tour is narrated, allowing you to gain insightful knowledge about the animals, flora, and fauna of this spectacular region. Enjoy a snack on the bus as you make your way through the park. Additionally, an interpretive stop at the Adolf Murie Cabin offers a glimpse of the history and science behind this vast landscape.

Denali National Park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Alaska, and for good reason. With its sprawling wilderness, rich wildlife, and diverse plant life, it offers a unique and unforgettable experience for visitors. Note - Please note that early May and September tours may be shortened due to road conditions. We'll spend the night in Denali, dreaming of the wildlife and natural beauty we experienced today.

Day 5: Deluxe Dome Railcar tour to Talkeetna.

Highlights of the day:

Deluxe Dome Railcar tour from Denali to Talkeetna.
Catch a glimpse of black bears along banks of the Susitna River.
Scenic tour transfer from Talkeetna to Anchorage.

This morning is free for you to indulge in some optional sightseeing activities.

Late morning. our coach will transfer you to the Denali Rail Depot. Here, you will board the train for a Deluxe Dome Railcar Journey south to the town of Talkeetna situation in the confluence of the Susitna, Chulitna, and Talkeetna Rivers. During the scenic transfer, keep an eye out for a glimpse of Denali (formerly known as Mt. McKinley) for black bears along the banks of the Susitna River.

Upon arrival in Talkeetna, our deluxe motorcoach will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Anchorage. Later this evening, join your group and share stories of your Alaskan Adventure with your fellow travelers at an included closing night farewell dinner.

Overnight in Anchorage, AK

Day 6: The Sweet Goodbye.

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast before bidding farewell to your Alaskan Adventure. Check-out is posted for 11 AM. The hotel’s courtesy shuttle transfer will take you to the airport, or you may choose to purchase private transfer service from DMCI.

Gratuities to Tour Directors and Drivers are not included. Gratuity of US $9 per person, per day for the tour director and US $7 per person, per day for the driver will apply and must be paid to Tour Director at the start of the tour.
Travel Insurance – highly recommended. If client declines your offer to sell Travel Insurance, you are required to secure a Liability Waiver signed by the client that you must provide us on demand. We sell Travel Insurance to residents of Ontario. Non-residents of Ontario as well as clients from abroad must purchase Travel Insurance in the province/state/country where they reside.
