As your flight glides into Vancouver, we welcome you to your incredible Canadian Rockies Tour. Once you complete your customs and immigration procedures, proceed to the taxi rank for your ride to the hotel.  Your transfer to hotel is not included in your package.

Later this evening, your Tour Director will meet with you in the lobby of the hotel to exchange documents and brief you on the fantastic experiences that lie ahead on your Canada holiday.

Start your day with a breakfast at your hotel.  Post breakfast, check-out, and board your tour coach to start your tour of Canada’s West Coast and the Rockies.

Enjoy a guided city tour of Vancouver, as your Tour Guide shares interesting details and stories about the city’s top attractions. Start with a trip to Granville Island, which was once an industrial wasteland but is now a public space known for its unique artistic talent, shopping markets, incredible food offerings, and entertainment activities. Then, visit to Robson Street, a major shopping and commercial precinct lined with stores and eateries that draw in visitors from across the world. Uncover the ever-charming Gastown, a historic settlement that was the origin of today’s Vancouver, and marvel at the old buildings, visit the quaint stores, pose against vintage lampposts, and see the famous Gastown Steam Clock. Next, head to Stanley Park, the city’s first green space with several walking and cycling trails, blooming gardens, a miniature train, and the scenic Seawall, and enjoy a photo stop at the Totem Poles that are a showcase of the First Nations’ artistic traditions.           

Finally, experience the best things to do in Canada, right within Vancouver. Your tour includes tickets to FlyOver Canada, a unique and thrilling multi-dimensional experience. This ultimate flight ride uses motion, special effects, and world-class technology to make you feel like you are flying over the Great White North.

Leave Vancouver and turn onto the Sea to Sky Highway, one of the most scenic routes in Canada with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. Enroute, enjoy a photo stop at Shannon Falls, which at a height of 335 m is among British Columbia’s tallest waterfalls. Capture the perfect photo from the broad walkway that offers close-up views of the waterfalls, which is known for its rock climbing and nature trails. 

Continue to Whistler, an alpine village on the west coast offering breathtaking scenes and a range of activities and fun events all around the year. 

On arrival in Whistler, check into your hotel.  Rest of the day free to explore Whistler or indulge in any number of the fun activities offered at Whistler.

Morning gear up for the ultimate alpine ride as you soar through the air on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola ride (admission not included in tour).  This high-altitude ride delivers impeccable views of the surrounding lakes, forest, glaciers, mountains and even Whistler Village as you glide over the valley in glitzy glass-enclosed cabins. One of the best things to do on your Canada tour, this approximately 22-minute return trip will give you plenty of opportunities for perfect photographs and leave you spell-bound.

This afternoon (1:00 PM), tour transfer by coach to Kelowna.  Driving through the Thompson Okanagan valley on a meandering route that takes you past forested parks, vineyards, orchards, and lakes. The last stop for the day, Kelowna is a laid-back city that sits pretty on the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake. Check-in to your hotel and settle down for a good night’s rest after your long day of fun.  You will arrive in Kelowna closer to dinner time.

On arrival, check into your hotel.  Rest of the evening free to enjoy downtown Kelowna on your own.

This morning, post a sumptuous breakfast, check out of your hotel and board your tour coach for a drive along the shores of beautiful Shuswap Lake, and through Revelstoke, Glacier & Yoho National Park to Canmore. 

Leaving Kelowna behind your coach will turn onto the Trans-Canadian Highway, which connects the west coast to the resort towns in the Canadian Rockies. Enroute, pay a visit to the historic Canada’s Last Spike, near Revelstoke. This is where the final spike was driven into the Canadian Pacific Railway track in 1885 to mark the end of five long years of building the transcontinental rail route.  Continue to Sicamous with a stop at the D Dutchman Diary for a delicious treat of authentic Canadian ice cream. Choose from 62 flavors of ice cream made on location and meet the friendly farm animals or pick up some fresh produce from the thriving farmers market opposite the diary.  Proceed to the famous mountain town of Revelstoke, set along the Columbia River where we will break for lunch. Enroute to Revelstoke, we will pass by Three Valley Gap, a ghost town where time stands still.

After this short lunch break, we leave Revelstoke behind to drive along the highway with towering, forested ranges and fast flowing rivers hemming the highway on both sides.  We will drive through Glacier & Yoho National Park to arrive Canmore closer to 7 PM.

On arrival, check-in to the welcoming warmth of your hotel, where you can relax in your rooms or step out to indulge in the local fare before you call it a night.

Wake up early in the morning and savour a delicious breakfast at the hotel.  Experience the best of Canadian Rockies today as you witness stunningly beautiful emerald blue lakes, and pristine ice fields in the Canadian Rockies. Depart from hotel and start your full-day guided Icefield Parkway tour.

Often counted among the best things to do in Canada, this tour takes you on a spectacular journey along one of the most beautiful roads in the world. With your Tour Director sharing interesting details on all you see; you are sure to have a fun and informative experience. Start by exploring famous lakes within Banff National Park, the oldest national park in Canada and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. First, stop at Lake Louise, renowned for its shimmering turquoise waters and fantastic location that make for picture-perfect photos. Journey on to the shimmering Bow Lake, whose calm waters mirror its surroundings to create a staggeringly beautiful frame.  

Continue through the breathtaking Banff and Jasper National Parks as you make your way to Columbia Icefield, the world’s largest non-polar ice field and a must-do experience in the Canadian Rockies. This glacier adventure blends superb views, pristine landscapes, and ancient tales to deliver an unforgettable experience.  Hop on to the giant Ice Explorers (included in tour) for an hour-long guided trip on the Athabasca Glacier; this engaging experience reveals the region’s history and geology, leaving you with a new-found appreciation of nature. Give in, to the sense of wonder as you stop to sip on the pure chilled water that melts of the Athabasca Glacier. Later, head to the Glacier Skywalk (admission included) and see history come alive as you pass fossils and waterfall on your walk to the lookout perched 918 ft (280 m) above the Sunwapta Valley. With its glass floor and breathtaking views of far-off ice fields, valleys and towering Canadian Rockies, this platform is the perfect place to absorb nature’s incredible beauty on your Canada holiday.

Finally, get on the coach for a comfortable transfer to Canmore, a splendid little town nestled in the Canadian Rockies. Your full day tour comes to an end once you arrive in Canmore, where you check-in to your cozy hotel and wind down for the night.

Day seven of your Canada tour promises a range of fabulous experiences. Indulge in a delightful breakfast before you check out and board your tour coach.

Leaving Canmore behind, travel along the Trans-Canadian Highway towards the resort town of Banff. Along the way, your Tour Director will regale you with stories that reveal hidden facts about the region’s history and culture.

Your sightseeing tour of Banff will cover some of the best of Canada tourism, including a thrilling ride on the Banff Gondola (admission ticket not included). One of the most exciting things to do in Canada, this exhilarating ride glides through the air all the way to the top of Sulphur Mountain at 7,486 ft (2,281 m). If you think the grand views from the glass-enclosed gondolas are amazing, wait till you get to the summit’s observation deck, which offers brilliant 360-degree views of six mighty mountain ranges, the Bow Valley and Banff. Explore the Sulphur Mountain Boardwalk and enjoy delicacies from the local eateries before starting the journey back down. 

Cruise along Tunnel Mountain Drive, winding through the Bow River Valley, with stunning views of the Bow Falls as well as the Rundle and Cascade Mountains that stand guard over the town of Banff. Not only does your drive come with fantastic vistas and famous Canada tourist places, but it also includes photo stops at the Spiral Tunnels and the Natural Bridge. Part of the steepest, most scenic railway line in North America, the Spiral Tunnels create two giant loops under the mountains and are an example of man’s engineering genius. On the other hand, the Natural Bridge has been carved out of rock by the surging waters of the Kicking Horse River; it is the perfect spot to see the meeting of the three Emerald, Amiskwi, and Kicking Horse rivers.  

Drive on after the quick stop as you transfer to Calgary, a busy city that sits in the eastern foothills of the Canadian Rockies. Once you arrive in Calgary, our last stop for the day, check-in to your charming hotel and relax after an incredible day of discovery.

You will arrive at your hotel in Calgary by 8 PM.  On arrival, check into you hotel.  Rest of the evening free.

Your Tour Director will sign off and depart once hotel check-in is completed.

Start your day by treating your taste buds to a hearty breakfast, then ensure you have packed all your belongings before you get ready to check-out of the hotel. 

The hotel's Airport Shuttle will transfer you to Calgary International Airport (YYC).
