Arriving in Whitehorse, you’ll be welcomed by your guide and escorted to your downtown hotel. 

After settling in, immerse yourself in Yukon’s wild beauty at the Wildlife Preserve, where native animals roam in a natural setting. Return to town for a delightful dinner and sample a Yukon-brewed beer in one of the city’s charming pubs—a perfect start to this unforgettable journey.

Starting the day with a hearty breakfast, journey along the Alaska Highway to Destruction Bay, where Yukon’s wild landscapes expand in all directions. Approaching Haines Junction and Kluane Lake, experience nature’s breathtaking beauty firsthand. Upon arrival, embark on a thrilling snowmobile ride to Wilderness lodging. End this day of adventure with a comforting meal, surrounded by Yukon’s vast, tranquil wilderness.

  • Discover trapping techniques and tanning traditions.

At Wilderness lodging, awaken to pure wilderness. Start with a hearty breakfast, then set out for a snowmobile ride through stunning surroundings. Next, a snowshoe trek offers a chance to spot wildlife before diving into a hands-on look at the life of a trapper, learning about setting trap lines, tanning hides, and ice fishing. The day concludes with an unforgettable view of the northern lights under the star-filled sky.

The journey back to Whitehorse begins as you depart Wilderness lodging, riding snowmobiles to Destruction Bay. A stop at Takhini Hot Springs offers a rejuvenating dip in its warm pools—a favourite highlight in winter. The evening wraps up with a last hearty meal together, sharing stories from the adventure-filled days spent in Yukon’s stunning wilderness.

  • 2 nights hotel accommodation in middle class double room in Whitehorse.
  • 2 nights’ accommodation in double room in a Wilderness Lodging.
  • Personalized guidance and interpretation during the entire trip.
  • 3 Snowmobile trips. 
  • All overland transportation in air-conditioned Maxi Van (capacity 15 seats).  
  • Entrance fees according to program.
  • Airport transfers. 
  • Meals at the Wilderness Lodging.
  • Taxes & GST.

Exclusions

  • Airfare.  We offer airfares as an optional add-upon request.
  • Breakfast and other meals or ground transportation unless listed under inclusions.
  • Porterage at hotels. 
  • Bottled Water in hotel rooms.
  • Travel Insurance is strongly recommended to all travelers.  Travel Agents, please note - If your client chooses to decline your offer to sell them Travel Insurance, you must secure a signed Liability Waiver, as required by the TICO, the Provincial Travel Regulatory Authorities of Ontario, Canada. DMCi Inc. sells Travel Insurance to residents of Ontario who are Canadian citizens or landed immigrants (Permanent Residence Card Holders) only. Non-Canadians and non-residents of Ontario or international clients must purchase Travel Insurance in their respective province, state, or country of residence.
