Itinerary

Arrive at your hotel in Montreal on your own. Spend the rest of the day exploring Montreal.

Overnight in Montreal, QC.

Your fully narrated tour of Montreal includes the sights and sounds that will leave you with a good insight into the city, and all it stands for. Start your tour with a photo stop at the iconic Notre Dame (admission not included), the oldest stone Church in North America built in 1688, which is known for its intricate architecture and exquisite artwork. With its two bell towers, soaring arches, and large stained-glass windows, this promises to deliver some breath-taking photographs to take back home. Drive through the residential neighbourhood straight to the buzzing Financial District, peppered with iconic buildings, top of the line restaurants, and busy surroundings.

Then, make your way to Old Montreal, the continually evolving 400-year-old district that blends some of the city’s oldest and newest attractions, with historic buildings hand in hand with new fashion boutiques and trendy cafes. Also stop to marvel at the unique architectural heritage at the Old Port, a major trading hub from 1610s to 1970s. With many dining, shopping, and entertainment options as well as cultural events, a walk down this port is one of the best things to do in Canada.

Your tour also gives you a great outside view of the Olympic Stadium, which is the largest covered amphitheatre in Quebec and home to the world’s tallest inclined tower. Once an iconic site in the world of sports, this multipurpose facility is home to a thriving Biodome and a large Planetarium and plays host to cultural and sporting events around the year. The final item on your tour of Montreal is the chance to soak in panoramic views from the observation point from Mount Royal Park, a sprawling public park on a hill within the city. Part of an ancient volcanic complex, this park offers stunning views of the city, a variety of fun outdoor activities, and stands testament to the city’s history, geography and biodiversity.
