Katmai National Park


  • Activity Level: Mild to Moderate – requires some walking on uneven, unpaved terrain. The total walking is approximately 1.2 miles and trail is mostly flat and well maintained.
  • Intimate two-to-three-hour scenic flightseeing tour from Anchorage, flight times vary depending on weather and plane type.
  • Katmai bear viewing at Brooks Falls – watch them catch jumping salmon!
  • Wildlife watching on return flight for beluga whales, moose and Dall sheep
The federally protected Katmai National Park and Preserve is world famous for Alaska brown bear viewing. Accessible only by air, this is Alaska wilderness in its rawest form.

Visit Brooks Falls, watch brown bears fish for spawning salmon from elevated viewing platforms and boardwalks. This 10–12-hour journey includes a lunch and a scenic 2–3-hour flight each way. Bear viewing includes walking on relatively flat paths; self guided, but National Park Rangers are available.

This tour is fully customizable when operated as a Private Tour exclusive to you (subject to availability).
Bear viewing and is not bookable for children under six. Exceptions maybe made for private groups on a case by case basis.
