River rafting is a great way to experience the Canadian wilderness. For centuries, First Nations people have used the river to travel and trade. Fur traders followed in their footsteps, using the river to transport goods to and from the interior of the country. In more recent times, foresters have used the river to transport logs to sawmills. Today, rafters can use the river to experience the beauty of the Canadian landscape. River rafting is a great way to see wildlife and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is also a great way to bond with friends or family members. Whether you are an experienced rafter or a beginner, there is a river trip for you. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start exploring!

Settle into your waterfront accommodation before relaxing by the campfire.

Overnight at the campsite.
Enjoy breakfast on the lakeside patio and build your energy for the day’s adventure. You will experience one of the world’s great white-water routes, a high volume, temperate and dynamic waterway that merges exhilaration with natural serenity and heart pounding action. Stop for a snack, bodysurfing, or cliff jumping along the route.

At rapids’ end you switch from raft to pontoon boat for a freshly grilled meal on the return cruise to the resort. Later, relive your day’s adventure: watch a short video of your trip in the post and beam pavilion. Enjoy a sauna or outdoor shower and relax on the beach. Savour your steak or vegetarian dinner overlooking the Ottawa River. In the evening, gaze at the endless night sky, enjoy a campfire, or kick up your heels and dance into the wee hours of the morning.
