The Laurentides in Québec is the perfect place to enjoy all that winter has to offer. From snowmobiling and dogsledding to simply playing in the snow, Québec has it all. And what better way to enjoy Québec in winter than by staying at the cozy Auberge Lac Morency, located in the heart of the Laurentides forests. Our all-inclusive stay includes breakfast and dinner, as well as access to the Auberge's Nordic Spa, which features a whirlpool bath, sauna, jacuzzi, indoor pool, and training room. But the real adventure begins when you strap on your snowshoes and head out into the Québec wilderness. Go dog sledding and become an expert Musher. Ride your own snowmobile and discover the snowy trails of the Laurentides. Cap your day with a Musher’s lunch at Cabane du Musher, a musher's wooden cabin heated by an old-fashioned wood oven right in the middle of the forest. There is no other winter adventure like this you could go on.

Auberge Lac Morency is located on the shores of Lac Morency in Saint Hippolyte, a 60 to 90-minute ride from Pierre Trudeau International Airport (YUL) or from Mont Tremblant depending on snow and road conditions. You may also combine this package with our Mont Tremblant Ski Package.

Note: This tour is not suitable for children under 5 years of age.

Day 1: Arrive at Auberge Lac Morency in Saint Hippolyte

Arrive this afternoon on your own at the Auberge Lac Morency in the middle of the Laurentide forests.

Check into your hotel.

Dinner at hotel is included in your package.

Overnight in Saint Hippolyte, QC.

Day 2: Dog Sledding Tour and Mushers Lunch

This morning, after breakfast, you'll report to the outfitter’s office, just 50-meters from your hotel’s front door. You'll be transferred to the kennels in the forest by a 4 x 4 vehicle. Here you'll meet your Husky Mushing team and get a briefing on safety instructions. Then it's time to hit the trails! You'll discover the magnificent mountainous and snowy forest trails, cross Beaver Lake, and experience pure happiness!

Your tour will include a drink of hot chocolate.

The morning activity will end when you arrive at the Cabane du Musher, a musher's wooden cabin heated by an old-fashioned wood oven right in the middle of the forest for a 4-course traditional Quebec meal of mulled wine, crushed pea soup, 1/2 meat pie, meatball stew, roasted potatoes and marinated vegetables and creamy sugar cake.

At the end of the day’s activity, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Spend the rest of the day indulging in various winter activities offered at your hotel or relax in the Nordic Spa.

Day 3: Morning Snowmobile Tour. Afternoon departure.

Today, you will spend the morning on a snowmobiling tour of the Laurentides. After checking out of your hotel, proceed once again to the outfitter’s office right across the driveway. You will start your snowmobiling tour after a brief video and safety briefing. Drive through the snowy trails of the Laurentides taking in the beauty of the snowy countryside and forests.

Post the finish of your tour, depart for home.

Travel Insurance – highly recommended. If client declines your offer to sell Travel Insurance, you are required to secure a Liability Waiver signed by the client that you must provide us on demand. We sell Travel Insurance to residents of Ontario. Non-residents of Ontario as well as clients from abroad must purchase Travel Insurance in the province/state/country where they reside.
